Esta realidad, poco deseable, requiere de intervenci\u00f3n r\u00e1pida y eficaz por parte de los empleadores.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>La palabra motivaci\u00f3n proviene del lat\u00edn <em>motivus<\/em> (movimiento) y el sufijo &#8211;<em>ci\u00f3n<\/em> (acci\u00f3n o efecto); es decir, lo que mueve al individuo a realizar una acci\u00f3n o conseguir un efecto. Siendo esta la fuerza que dirige y mantiene el comportamiento de una persona tanto en su vida privada como profesional, es necesario incentivarla para mantenerla al m\u00e1ximo de forma constante.<\/p>\n<p>Uno de los m\u00e9todos m\u00e1s utilizados para lograr el objetivo es la transformaci\u00f3n de los comportamientos a trav\u00e9s de recompensas o penalizaciones.<\/p>\n<p>En el trabajo se debe procurar incentivar las conductas que lleven a consecuencias positivas para la empresa y frenar, en la medida de lo posible, aquellas que propicien el efecto contrario.<\/p>\n<p>En consecuencia, el plan para la modificaci\u00f3n del comportamiento de los colaboradores, consistir\u00e1 en recompensar a aquellos cuya actuaci\u00f3n contribuya a la obtenci\u00f3n de las metas de la organizaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>El reforzamiento positivo aumentar\u00e1 la probabilidad de que se repita un comportamiento deseable determinado, dando recompensa a las personas por responder afirmativamente hacia el cambio que se quiere conseguir, en vez de repetir al que est\u00e1n habituados.<\/p>\n<p>Para que el reforzamiento positivo pueda emplearse de manera correcta, se precisa seguir algunas recomendaciones (Sum Mazariegos, 2015) que a continuaci\u00f3n se presentan:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Expresar con toda claridad cu\u00e1l comportamiento conducir\u00e1 a una recompensa.<\/strong> La precisi\u00f3n en las normas, ayudar\u00e1 a que todos comprendan la din\u00e1mica y evitar\u00e1 los malos entendidos posteriores.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Elegir la recompensa apropiada.<\/strong> Incentivos peque\u00f1os para una acci\u00f3n grande no motivar\u00e1n al personal; mientras que est\u00edmulos grandes para acciones peque\u00f1as causar\u00e1n malestar e incluso confusi\u00f3n en el equipo. La justa medida es siempre la respuesta<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Conceder recompensas con frecuencia variable.<\/strong> La variabilidad de la recompensa, es decir, presentarla en ocasiones especiales, la har\u00e1 m\u00e1s apetecible como y prevendr\u00e1 que los empleados la exijan como parte de su remuneraci\u00f3n habitual.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Hacer que la recompensa siga de inmediato a la conducta observada.<\/strong> Esta acci\u00f3n facilitada el condicionamiento y refuerzo positivo.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Hacer que la recompensa corresponda al comportamiento.<\/strong> La nueva conducta positiva no prevalecer\u00e1 si la recompensa se otorga sin rigor, es decir, si se le facilita al colaborador a pesar de no haber mostrado la conducta o acci\u00f3n deseada.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6. Lograr que las recompensas sean visibles.<\/strong> Con este punto, el equipo se motivar\u00e1 al comprobar que el incentivo es real y aumentar\u00e1 la probabilidad de que se reorienten hacia \u00e9l.<\/p>\n<p><strong>7.
